Never heard of these before or they are regular bike brands or motorcycle brands just getting into ebike space:

Phenix
Urwhan
Swapfeits
Schindelhauer
Weiler
Linus
Santa Cruz
Flyer AG
Forseti
Merida
Sohoo
Gyroar
YT
LaPierre
Ducati
Flaunt
Nireeka
Capri

Santa Cruz, YT, and Merida have been around in the mountain bike space for quite a while. Given that e-mtb bikes have their own Enduro World Series race class this year I'd be surprised if a lot of traditional MTB brands don't roll out e-MTBs of their own over the next couple of years.

I've seen my fair share of Linus acoustic bikes; they're popular because of their "classic" style.
LaPierre and Merida are not (to my knowledge) imported to the States. Merida is the minority (49%) shareholder of Specialized and has been building Specialized bikes since the beginning, so that's why no Merida here.

Swapfeits

There was a thread running on the forums about Swapfeits and the concept of a bike subscription service (which is what Swapfeits offers). I think some major Dutch companies are behind it like perhaps whoever owns Gazelle...

Ah, that's why the aluminium Specialized frames are being built in Taiwan...

It's going to look like the emerging Auto industry did, as far as brands, back in the early 1900's. Of course back then the companies built the cars where now it's more about branding and distribution. It's always kinda fun to watch something new to market go thru it's arc. Hope I'm around 10 years from now to see how the eBike impacts society. Perhaps that's too narrow....how renewable energy effects us all.

Yeah, as I mentioned some were bike brands now getting into ebikes. Never personally had any interest in MTB's and still don't with e-MTBs.
No interest in eMTBs?!? Personally my interest in E-bikes overall has grown 10 fold since I started seeing eMtb's well over 5 years ago in the US market. This is the sole reason I continue to have a solid interest in this space. Without them, it would be so much less on so many levels. That's just me!

But as a general idea, this is mainstream now b/c mtb is so popular and with a motor on the bike is even a lot more fun for all types of customers.
What would be the % for ebike sales ?

This is good ?

-emtb=50%

-commuter=25%

-road ebike=25%

Same with Santa cruz, Willier, Ducati and a few others..Flyer .

If that was your 1st post, it would have been a forgiven error, maybe you had a 55% ABB shot of a great liqueur before posting 😉.

As I said, I had EITHER never heard OR they were just getting into the electric space. Clearly you can't read. It was not AND. But thanks for busting my chops. You are pretty good at that.

I rushed into reading it. You had it very clearly stated OR .

Also deleted and corrected my posts. I should have made a better judgement and a more respectful post.
I apologize .

But generally speaking all the e bike brands were at one point in the past ( far away or recent past ) just regular bike brands.

And this is also extrapolated into the car industry. I know you are up to date with the Ev news. BMW, MB, FORD and many others had no EV until very recently .
Ford is trying hard to just teach dealers how to pronounce MACH E😀

Clearly they are hesitant to EV's sales.
And many of them are now stuck b/c of battery shortage.
