Modify Handlebars on BMC Alpenchallenge AMP City One

Do you know what the options are for handlebar grips on the H-bar?
Ergon Gp1 should be fine.
Wide round grips are actually quite comfortable since the handlebar is swept back, you just need to slightly change your holding habit, once adjusted it feels great without any pressure on ulnar or carpal nerves. They have their silicon grips, wide so should be comfortable.

If you want single position, ergonomic grips then Ergon has GC1 grips is another optionhttps://www.ergonbike.com/en/product-details.html?w=touring&a=griffe&anr=42410010&s=gc.
You can cover the rest of the handlebar with bar tape and still have many hand positions.

I would like to use my existing Ergon grips - I am not a fan of the round handlebar after using Ergon for years.
I've used Ergons on Jones bars. I love Ergons. Just going thru this thread now as I have the same bike & am dealing with the same handlebar issues. Currently using Ahearne MAP bars, same as my old bike, and sorting thru the stem. I'm going to try as short a stem as they make to get the bars closer to me. Trying to re-create the set-up as my old bike.

This is directed at percymon, regarding your reference to stems. You mention that the headlight mount is a standard GoPro type. Do you know what the dimensions of the cut-out on the faceplate are? I have researched stems on line but cannot find any reference to "GoPro type mounting" or any dimensions on the cut-out. The local BMC dealer says "whatever came with the bike" is it. They are not into ebikes, unfortunately.

I am also looking for swept back and rise in the handle bar for my alpenchallenge. But concerned about the cable lengths for brakes and what not.
