There was a compatibility issue with the bike I wanted to use. The version I sold also had an integrated brake if I remember correctly. I'd also seen quite a few SA failures with a BBSHD.
I ran in to quite a few problems myself. After about 3 weeks (don't get much free time) it's finally done!
Problems included:
-Rear dropouts 190mm, SX-RK3 is 170mm
-supplied grip shifter doesn't mount clean to brake lever.
-new single speed chain was too short.
-loss of PAS and throttle in 2nd gear only.
-vertical dropouts only
-never spoked or trued a wheel before (LBS quoted 6 week turn around and didn't sound like they wanted to get involved)
-chain tension caused some issues when given anything more than 200watts.
There were actually a couple more issues regarding the fit of the hub to the dropouts and some parts that didn't come with the kit that the instructions for the hub showed as being used. In the end it's all up and running just fine. Full throttle to 30mph no problem.
44t chainring and 20t rear cog. After all the math I've got the equivalent of 4th, 6th, and 8th from my original 10 speed.
