Loud noise and loss of power

I have had my bike for two weeks. I travel 6 miles each way to work. Takes about 20 minutes tops. I charge my battery while at work. The last couple days I have noticed the bike making some loud noise and then power seems to cut off. I power the bike off from the throttle....then on ride about 50 feet and then the process happens all over again. Any suggestions on what to do?

Your battery is probably not pushed all the way in on the battery mount. Make sure you hear the 2 click and have it tight and snug on the mount. Another thing to look for is the wires particularly the battery to the controller. Make sure there is a good connection.

I have noticed that happening before.... and thats the first thing I check. But this almost sounds like some rubbing inside the hub. The power lights stay on, but the power fades.
