We often recommend this if you’re not able to bring the bike inside. In NYC there is a law that if there’s space in your office the building needs to give you access.
@Over50 based on Highway2’s website it seems the alarm locks should be arriving in the states in the next few weeks. I personally am pretty excited about them. Highway2 is the main distributor for Abus and they will be first to get them.
Someone finally did it! I don't dislike it, information is always helpful. You'd have a quicker, easier time with a battery powered angle grinder. You could never put that kind of torque on that nut splitter with a free standing lock at the bike rack. It was moving the vice. The video shows how tough that lock is!
I agree with JR. The Abus X-Plus 6500 when used in a traditional bike locking manor would be probably one of the best or best
deterrents to a brute force attack, less an angle grinder.
