Currently, LG MJ1 is one of the highest energy density cylindrical cells one can buy (other than the 4680 and 2170 cells by Panasonic).
LG is doing a phenomenal job scaling up the battery plant capacity. They already have secured an agreement with GM for their Ultium batteries and supply to several top automakers including Ford, Tesla in other markets.

Nice. Will be great to see something other than cylindrical developed further. Originally looking for chargers, I stumbled across this site showing specs and charge/discharge curves of various batteries:


Seems comprehensive but I don't know of its veracity.
