Lectric xPeak 2.0 Twist Throttle

I just received my xPeak 2.0 and would like to change the thumb throttle to a twist throttle. I have a twist throttle with a 3 pin orange plug which has worked fine on my other bikes (Velotric and Ride1Up) but I just get an error on the xPeak.

Any thoughts on why this works on these other bikes but not on the xPeak? Recommendations for one that will work?

Contacted Lectric and was told that they have no idea what works and doesn’t work with this bike.

It shows a thumb throttle replacement with a generic product but the same procedure will likely work with a twist type.

Mine has a different plug type than the video but the procedure has always been the same. Unplug thumb throttle, plug in twist throttle, ride away. Never had it not work but for some reason, this Lectric will not accept the twist throttle. Lectric has no idea why or what may work.
