Hi There, can anyone recommend a bike jacket with a Waist of 142 cms or 55”? i do week end on bike trails, couldn’t get a comfortable cycle jacket.

I'd try a carhartt.com 4x. The hood won't be much use though. I wear a welder's helmet liner under my helmet to protect my ears, but the new one is too thick to fit. The 15 year old one fits fine. Carhartt is at some farm supplies like orscheln or rural king, but they also sell direct.
I wore a army surplus jacket without the liner yesterday, but it was only 25 F & 9 mph wind. Also t-shirt, waffle underwear, shirt, 3 sweaters, & wells lamont farmer mittens.

I've got a buddy that's big and tall and he said cycling gear can be tough to find. Most Asian sources won't have what you need. Many reviews complain about how cycling clothes are poorly marked for size. For example I'm 6'2" and about 175lb and I have a pair of thermal cycling pants that are XXL. They are from China. I really like them, well made, just not sized properly. If you go on Amazon check the reviews carefully for size recommendations. They often suggest going up several sizes.

Here are some jackets made in America. Great reviews, not cheap though.

Not terrible. I have a paper thin windbreaker jacket made by Pearl Izumi, I think it's made in Asia and it was $65, several years ago. The materials they use these days are thin and fairly warm.

Thanks. The ones I ordered from Asian sources though it says 5 XL,are very small and does not fit at all.
