KT 30A Sinewave/KY LCD8H display issues

Bought the topic heading setup to replace a 25amp/500c bafang hub setup.
No amount of setting changes works.
Battery bar indicator always shows no bars.
Voltage level reads correctly for 3 different 48v batteries i use.
Controller does not power up the hub motor but the display functions fine.
ATM i'm thinking either dud controller or display, i have another KT 30 amp sinewave controller on order from official KT aliexpress store.
1T5 cable.
Another thing is the first 30 amp controller pinout does not line up with the arrows on the motor plug it only plugs in when rotated a bit.
Motor extension cable does not line up with connector arrows either.
Perhaps the parts i have are made with a slightly different pinout so they dont line up with the 48v/1000W Bafang G062 Hub motor.

New controller. Old throttle and PAS connector? Disconnect them and try walk mode from the display to test motor connections. Ditch the extension cable and move controller closer to motor to test if necessary, You want to get the basics working first.

I had one of those poorly made extension cables too. I was trying to get something $2 cheaper. It did work but was problematic. Since the bike was for someone else, I put on one of my better ones.

This setup required a new throttle same PAS sensor. No walk mode either.
