What does the connector on the charger look like? Post a pic?
I think I figured out what those 2 wires are for thanks to seeing a CAN-Bus marking on the battery. They should be the CAN-Bus High and Can-Bus Low wires for communication. Which may screw my plan to transfer the charging connector to the new charger, it may still work but most CAN Bus systems will prevent charging if it can't communicate with the charger. Searching for a CAN-Bus 52v ebike charger is driving me crazy because I can't seem to find anything and google is spitting out garbage smart/intelligent chargers that are not actual CAN systems.

Yeah you're probably right on the CANbus requirement and for the communication handshake.
That said I can't see it causing any damage to try it. It may be that the charger won't output until it sees the battery... so if the new one outputs without the handshake it may work. If you do try it, you may need to cycle the charger on/off once or twice to trick the BMS.
Also.. Have you tried contacting a local electronics repair shop to see if you can repair the stock charger?

Alright, its been a few months since my charger died. I am happy to say that my problem has been resolved and I now have a working charger with my ebike back to operating condition. Just in case somebody else has this problem I will post what happened.

1) After 2 months of near silence from Zen ebikes and just before Christmas the owner Ravi emailed me a response. He claimed that they had no record of me trying to contact them and didn't know what phone number I called to contact them. He then recommended that I contact their support manager, giving me the phone number he posted on this board and he cc'd the support managers email while he was at it..
I call BS on that, that email and phone number were already avenues that I had used before but it was certainly interesting having that blackhole of an email suddenly respond daily after this. To Zen ebikes credit once they actually started responding my issue was resolved and they sent out the charger for free to my address. I just wish they hadn't taken 2 months to respond.

2) There was another solution I ended up using that was way faster but cost me money. I contacted STD Chargers customer service by email in early December asking them for help with the charger, I wasn't sure if they would help since generally companies like that only like dealing with business and not consumers. Fortunately this wasn't the case, they asked for some pictures and after I sent them said they could do it. They charged me $80 for it and $70 for shipping so $150 total charged by PayPal. About a week and half later is when Zen ebikes contacted me so the timing was atrocious, I received a shipping notification from STD chargers 2 days later... lol.

In total, trying to fix this problem I spent $89 on the regular non CAN STD charger that I can't use + $150 for the STD charger and I practically turned bald pulling my hair out in frustration. The upside is I know have a backup charger incase I get this unlucky again.
