No ebike is perfect, this is a thread dedicated to sharing known issues or problems with electric bikes from Gocycle as well as any help and solutions you know of. Sometimes that means a DIY fix and other times it can mean a recall, software update or part replacement by a dealer.

Please be respectful and constructive with feedback, this is not a space for hate speech. In many cases, representatives from the company will see feedback and use it to improve their product. In the end, the goal is to enjoy riding and help each other go further and be safer.

Good, I perfectly agree with the principle of this forum.
I don't know how to say this without sounding rude, but no one on earth should have the right or even think to put its hands on my pocket and hack the top speeds of a bike I paid because it was 40 km/h top speed capable on the sale. I asked a fix or refund to the "designer" and got insults and threats.

Here you have my case, two bikes on a total of over 8000€ parked useless in the garage, no solution, no respect for customers:

 
All you have to do is use the Setup in the App and choose the Second option, which allows the bike to assist at speeds up to 40kph with or without pedaling. And you are sounding rude.
