Both E-Bike rated chains
Priced The Same

The EPT has some sort of coating to prevent Salt Rust . I wouldn't even be questioning which were the Prices Farther Apart . Does anyone know if there's an advantage one way or the Other with This chain : I know the KMC Chain is Top-0-Line : Just wondering if the Chains are somehow difference in design : Can't get a retailer who knows anything : If there's some big advantage to this EPT Treatment are the chains priced the same because the 10E is a better chain ?

I am running the KMC 10E with out the coating. It did not rust. The coating will wear off of the contact surfaces fairly quickly. Just oil regularly. Quality bike components are already resistant to corrosion. Having conducted a couple of week long salt immersion tests I have concluded, do not worry about it. The Trek is my daily commuter- no issues from salt water.

Well done... every boat should have this optional equipment. ;)
