Jupiterbike Defiant, Sondors Fold X, Aventon Sinch?

Greetings,
I'm new to ebikes and want to purchase a 20" folding bike. I like the look and features of the Sondors Fold X and Aventon Sinch.
I just found out about the JupitorBike Defiant. It looks good on paper, but does anybody have any experience with JupiterBike or the Defiant? I can't find any reviews about this bike.

I'm open to other bikes, but I do like the integrated battery.

JupiterBike Defiant, $1595.00 + $59.95 Rack - $200 Black Friday = $1454.95
+ includes front and rear mudguards (but not really fenders?)
- no rack included
+ integrated front headlight
+ 750 watt motor
- 48V, 10.4Ah battery
- 160mm disk brakes

Sondors Fold X, $1199.00 + $199 Fender/Rack/Bag + $97 Shipping = $1495
- no fenders included
- no rack included
- no integrated light
- 500 watt motor
+ 48V, 14Ah battery
? brakes

Aventon Sinch, $1499
- no fenders included, none for purchase?
- no rack included, out of stock and no price listed
- no integrated light
- 500 watt motor
+ 48V, 14Ah battery
+ 180mm disk brakes

The Espin Nesta also looks very good on paper, but it appears to be a brand new.

As a side note, I just ordered the JupiterBike Discovery X5 from Costco.com for $599.99 for my wife. I figure with Costco's easy return policy, this is a risk free purchase. Just not sure about spending $1454.95 for the Defiant on Jupiter's website.

Our use case for these bikes is recreational riding on bike paths (including some hard pack, hilly gravel trails) and grocery/library/errand trips. I would also like to ride on some trails with steeper hills. I'm 5-6" and my wife is 5'.

Thanks for your input.

How did you like the Jupiter Discovery 5x ?

How did you like the Jupiter Discovery 5x ?
We haven't ridden the Discovery 5x long enough to form an opinion yet. Cold weather and work schedules has prevented any long distance rides.

However, here are some early observations:
  • Out-of-the-box, the seat at the lowest position was still too high for my wife. I had to cut the seatpost so the seat could be lowered further.
  • I like how the throttle is active even with PAS=0.
  • The 350W motor is more powerful than I expected.
  • Peddle assist seems too powerful, even at PAS=1. There is a jolt of acceleration when it activates.
  • The rear brake squeaked on the initial ride. It was quiet after an adjustment.
  • Build quality seems good for the price.
  • In motion, the bike felt nimble and maneuverable.
  • I think it will be fine for casual rides in good weather.

Thanks for the report. I am 5 `8" so height is not an issue. Good to know it seems powerful enough. Interested in it because it is only 40 lbs. Battery would seem to limit range.

I found a used Jupiter Discovery 5x and it seems fine. Light, easy to fold. Small battery but extra battery costs about $200.

Just coming across Jupiter bikes myself. With all the YouTubing, I figured I knew every brand on the planet now. :)
The Jupiter foldables look very nice, and kudos on parts stock.
