Juggernaut Ultra. Bafang DPC-18, boots up with lights on

About 2 secs after turning power on, lights come on and stay on. I can turn them off with the button. Then next time I power up it does the same thing.

I figure I must have accidentally "fat-fingered" some hidden setting somewhere. It's not in the basic settings.

Not a big deal, the lights don't burn a lot of juice , in fact it might be a nice feature to know about. Might be a requirement for some jurisdictions.

It must be something in the display. Any thoughts?

Not on the Biktrix web site, but found it in the full DPC-18 manual. Lights are automatic, it's really grey here and guess it was just dark enough that they turn on.

Have you tried changing settings of the display?

DPC 18 has an ambient light sensor, so they come on automatically in the dark.

According to the owners manual then you should be able to disable the light sensor?
