Is The Garmin Mount The Most Common For Bicycle Accessories?

As posted above, is the Garmin mount the most common for bicycle accessories?

I bought a Hornit dB140 recently and their website mentions a "brand-new Garmin style mount".

After having read that, I am now noticing other non-Garmin devices that reference the "Garmin mount."

Is Garmin the most common? Are there other common mounts?

its been around forever so thats why. lots of imitations out there. my bike cameras are only 1/4 turn thats more of a pain. but there are a ton of different mount styles on the Garmin mount. so you can find one that works.

I suspect that GoPro mounts are up there and probably even more popular. I cannot recall coming across a specific accessory mentioning Garmin (I am not saying that they do not exist) but i do see a lot that use GoPro mounts without mentioning GoPro.

Even Garmin uses a GoPro-style mount for its Varia front lights.
