I hope that you don't mind Court, but I figured that it would be good to have a collective thread, where forum members can show their interesting rides as they happen.
And to start the ball rolling, here is a ride that I completed today. The ride started at a small village called Alciston, and from there I ventured along the base line of a section of the Soth Downs, then climbed up the hills to cycle along and down to a village called Alfriston. I then cycled back up again using a different route and just spent a bit of time exploring an area that I'm not familiar with. Sadly the view wasn't as clear as it could had been, but all in all, it was a fantastic way to spend a Saturday. I also made the obligatory food stop along the way, and had some of the best sausage rolls that I have ever tasted. The overall distance was 25miles, and the only negative thing about the ride was that I hadn't locked the battery in place and it came off the bike, and bounced onto the tarmac road at approx. 20mph.
Here is the area for ride. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place...2!3m1!1s0x47df7b213604cbc3:0x83c5da3b0ec2d5af
These three show the overall route, along with the steepest climb and steepest descent.
The ride from a distance and getting closer.
One of the climbs.
General shots.
Food stop.
