Importing from North America Has Become Tough

Beautiful pottery.
True... but at least for me personally that isn't anything that I'd want to buy imported and more of a keepsake I'd pick up while visiting the region.
But they do make Bafang motors and throttles there 🙃

Chinese sites like Alibaba and Temu are doing just what Amazon does, passing the cost onto the consumer.
They have a lot of independent sellers... I don't think they have much choice.
Poland could easily get back to 2.5-5% tariffs with the US. Bust the EU cartel and do a trade deal with the US. It's already falling apart.

But again.. Poland is inconsequential.
I don't think they are on the radar of this or any past administration for that matter. They have some minimal location relevance in the region.

The EU certainly is.
And rightfully so.
I agree with the motive of the tariffs.... but the implementation and level are far from harmonious.
Same went for getting NATO to anti_up.
In my opinion there's a whole lot of borderline corruption / pay to play / and personal preference given with business transactions in this administration and I think we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg

Youre only staying because poexit sounds silly.
We stay because we don't wanna become a Russian province for another 123 years or a Russian puppet state for yet 44 years.
Besides, I encourage you to visit Poland, try the Warsaw's public transport to realise the UK might be surpassed by Poland in the coming years :)

You don't host the company like Garbaruk, innit :)

Fwiw I ordered a RAW mudflap kit from the UK via Royal Mail and it was delivered last week to me in the US, I wonder if the Christmas mail means more small packets get through customs.

The thing is, all these tariffs levied by 🍊💩diktat have no system or procedure or mechanism of payment and collection. And they change depending on the whim of the unclothed emperor. No business can plan for the next month or half year or year. No consumer (on either side of the Berlin Wall) can buy and know how much the end price will be. Here in France, the post office just plain shut down any packages coming or going to/from the US. Maybe something comes in easily like Dewey's mudflap. Maybe it gets held up for ransom or can't be sent, because there is no mechanism for paying the tariffs. Nobody knows, and nobody's buying much because of it. Nobody's hiring extra help for the holiday season, 'cause there isn't a holiday season happening. True fiscal debacle.

Stefan its widely accepted that Poland has surpassed the UK in many critical areas, or may I say we have dropped off a cliff, how long before Germans start moving to Poland 😂

Its not Brexit, firstly we never really left and the same malaise has taken down France and Germany, they are utterly broke and about to be finished off by Chinese manufacturing.
Anyway were getting politics again.

It was a minor blip for us, it was a catastrophe for the continent.😂
We learnt a lot about the blob, about the EU, about where the power lays, weve seen all the tricks, everyone had to play their hand, we saw the old boys club in panic mode and now we have the uniparty on the ropes.
If the EU is so fandabydozie, why is Germany doing even worse than us.

Just the usual Scottish comedy duo where the wife dresses as a schoolboy.
We were memerised by the expertly executed awfulness of it and the phrase stuck.
