I'm looking for a 2014 Easy Motion Neo Jet

I am looking to buy a 2014 Neo Jet. Either new (or super low miles with no scratches/dents). If anyone knows of someone selling this bike, please let me know.

I originally wanted the Neo because Court said the 18" frame was designed more for women. I am 5' 4" with a 28" inseam.

However, I just talked to BH bikes yesterday and they said that was a typo and the Neo is actually a 19" frame (same as the new medium EVO). Does anyone know if the reach to the handlebars is the same between the 2014 Neo & the 2016 medium size Evo?

If I am not going to get a better frame fit in the Neo, I might just jump up to the new Evo.

One more question: The dealer in Portland said I probably wouldn't notice a difference between the 350 and the 500 watt motor unless I was at super high speeds. Is this true? I wouldn't even notice the difference going up the hills? He thought I should save $600 and get the 2015 model. What do you guys think?

Besides the larger motor, I believe the 2016 model also has slightly bigger tires (2", instead of 1.75"), slightly more battery capacity on the new 432 watt battery (48 volts, 9 ah) versus the 2015's 417 watt battery (36 volts, 11.6 ah).

Thanks for all of your help on making this decision. I wish they had the Jet here locally so I could test drive it before buying it. It would make things so much simpler.

I'd save the money - if you're a smaller rider the 350w will be plenty - I don't have any issue with it and am a big guy. The newer Evo frame also slopes down faster, then has the flat bar across the back - I found with my neo xtrem (sold last year) that that long curving top bar of the neo models felt quite high for stand over height and never really liked it myself. Conversely, even though my evo snow is a taller bike the stand over height is better with the change in the top bar style.

Being only 5' 4", that could be a problem for me. That's one of the main reasons why I am thinking about getting the Jet (a step through hybrid type model).

My wife is 5'1, she originally tried the "City" but is happy with her Jet. We replaced the saddle and pedals. I have a Jumper that I ride to work, 12 miles, daily. I have almost 2800 miles and no problems on mine. Like I said, I bought these from Chris,I suggest you call him directly, no tax and free delivery. He just suggested warranty calls for a bike shop to assemble, They charged me 80 bucks. Even though these are older models, I am very happy with Easy Motion. Maybe a new Jumper in my future.

Thanks! What year is your wife's Jet? Also, why did you switch out the peddles & saddle??

I think its a 2014, like I posted, Chris sent us new ones (bikes) in the box even though they were discounted. I just liked the wider pedal and bigger saddle for the longer rides. The factory Tires are nice but ANY soft trails tended to be a problem. these 24 dollar Continentals 700cmx50 sure made a difference. they have the reflective sidewall like the factories. She's (Mary) not one to promote constant assist. We can ride 40 miles at times and only use 1 bar. Only time she uses the battery is on hill climbs. One thing though, the bags do add enough weight, to make a difference.
