Maersk ship loses 750 containers overboard in Pacific Ocean

A cargo ship operated by A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S lost several hundred containers in the Pacific Ocean while sailing through heavy seas from China to Los Angeles, the latest in a spate of incidents in which boxes carrying millions of dollars' worth of goods have gone overboard.

Sure hope my Bolton Blackbird that's currently on the water from China to the US is now not under the waves! That's a lot of cargo that has recently been lost.

Batch #1 finally are in customers hands, batch #2 are either at the port waiting on customs or en route to Kyle's place for final inspection before shipping to customers. Batch 3 left the port in China a couple weeks ago, hence my comment.

Hopefully I'll see my batch 3 soon, and not have to go SCUBA diving for it!

Thankfully I was an Air Cadet (ATC) when I was young and can appreciate the affinity for aircraft names. In my IT world I have named servers using Aircraft and Navalcraft based on server role matched to plane/ship function!!

Yeah, I max out at 130' when I dive, and only warm water at that. Pretty sure this is beyond both of those criteria
