How much does the light drain the battery

How much drain does the headlight and tail light have on the battery? I have a Bagi Bike B20 Fat tire. Battery is Li-ion 48V 13Ah. Reason I ask is I just picked it up from the shop after they installed a new display panel. The lights stay on constantly when I turn the power on. If I press the button to turn the light on it is about twice as bright. The tail light in the back is very very dim. Hardly notice it but it's also on all the time. I only ride on the beach during the day and usually use about 60-70% of the battery with no light. I'm sure the shop will fix it. Problem is I won't be able to bring it in for at least a couple months with my work schedule. I don't mind riding with the the dim light on. Thank you.

The battery drain caused by your lights will depend on their wattage. Most LED bike lights don't draw much current so I doubt they will shorten battery life by more than a few minutes.

BTW, the fact that the lights stay on may be a safety upgrade similar to daytime running lights on vehicles. A call to your shop would confirm this and might save you a trip. There may also be a way to turn the lights off completely by pressing a combination or sequence of buttons on the display. The manual makes no mention of this however but the shop should be able to advise:

You might also try calling BagiBike directly at (240) 217 8444 and ask about the problem. There may be a simple fix you can do yourself.
