How can you beat that?

New to biking after 20 years off. Been disabled for the last six years with balance and strength issues. Bought a rad rover bike about a month ago. I am not an expert by any stretch of mine or anyone else's imagination. My rad rover fat bike seems perfect to me for the price. 750 w/ 48 v for $1500 no tax. No shipping costs. How can you beat that? Not looking for a fight but all answers welcome

Same boat as you. Haven't rode a bike since college in the late 80s, ruptured my Achilles at a company picnic, and gained weight from being too scared to participate in any exercise other than walking around the block. I did purchase a pedal bike back in 2014; but, hills, wind, winter chill, and summer heat really limited my riding days.

I've had my his/her Radrovers for about a year. I liked riding so much, I decided to work commute 3-4 times a week year round. I only skip riding if there is rain, snow, or winds of +20 mph. Add in the mileage from my fun rides and I put over 3400 miles on my Rovers in a year (miles split between both rovers because the wife doesn't ride as much).

For me; it is about how you use the tool compared to what tool you use. I've could have done the exact same amount of riding on a bike 2X-4X the price just to end up in the same place a year later (with less money in my pocket). Rad, Volt, Sondors, and Teo fat tire bikes have the best prices for those wanting to dip their toes into the ebike shallow end of the pool.

No mountain biking since the 80's and bought my Trek Powerfly and have been having a ball! No commuting but single tracks, and I ride a lot!!

I've lost a ton of weight and feel much better.

I rode so much I'm transitioning to non-assist for a couple times a week. I wouldn't have been still riding if not for an ebike where I can learn skills without being so tired I hit trees.

My prized 1963 Schwinn Beach cruiser hasn't seen much action the last few years, and definitely not since my THR.
We (wife and I) bought EuroMini folders in May and enjoy them so much we added some Magnum Premium 48 folders about a month ago. The upshot is, the folders are so much better suited to our sizes, age, and riding preferences we now have 1 of each (electric and non electric) and enjoy riding them both! The ebikes kinda sorta fill the void left by us selling our Vespas and m/c after my THR. Exercise is good....even electrically assisted exercise.
