Hi all,
Always a cycle commuter, moved up onto the Port Hills in November, 220m above sea level, and no way was I going to lug my Surly Troll up that every afternoon. So, got myself a Momentum Transcend E+, 2021 model, put some mudguards and my Surly 24pack rack on it. So far so good.

I'm doing about 15 km round trip each day, plus any extra running around on errands or socialising trips.

Finally jumped into the App last night and see I've done 1160kms, and charged it 22 times. Also discovered I could up the boost from 300w to 350w, which should make the hill climb a little easier. The bike is 32kph limited, which I sometimes find just not quite fast enough, eg boosting to make it thru a light etc. Will look at tweaking that once the warranty is up...

Anyway, happy to be here. Gidday.

Welcome aboard. Lots of good folks in this fun and informative forum, from all over the world. Hope you enjoy your time spent here.

Turns out I couldn't boost it in the App from 300W to 350W, it falls back to 300 after you've pushed the button.

The only one I could change was the middle setting from 150 to 175, which is where I've left it. For range purposes, I've started using middle setting over the 'Auto' setting, while on the flat, and put it on highest setting when I hit the hill each day.

Welcome! You have such a beautiful country to live and bike in. Don’t let the Kea birds chew your bike up!😉
