Hey guys just joined but im def gonna be hanging around since i will be getting a bike soon. Can you please help me pick which one because after researching for awhile my head starts to spin. My budget is 1200 to 1700 maxxx

Some things:

Im in new Jersey...mostly just ride on roads, sides of highways maybe a little dirt here and there. I do like the bikes with wider tires.

I know class 3 can technically only go 20 to 25 mph im looking for a fast bike where you can disbale that or whatever and go about 30 mph which i read about.

I want to order soon..like asap so something in stock i saw on a lot of companies websites there not shipping til like August.

I think thats really it i just need a good company with good customer service. Brands in looking at are m2s...blixtrix and rad rover. But again im open to any suggestions...thanks

Hmmm thanks so after reading I put the aventon level on my list and magnum u16 which is out of stock on site....geesh still need help

First of all maintaining 30mph speed (reaching that speed might be doable with a lot of effort) is not easy to do unless you have a very powerful motor, large chainring and matching gear range. Second, even if you had a bike with the said powerful motor, sustaining that speed will drain your battery pretty quickly. Lastly, I can't imagine a bike in that price range that would meet your needs. You'd have to spend double that..minimum.

I agree with @Timpo, BBSHD kit may be able to get you there if you can build it.

Go search craigslist. Maybe you'll get lucky.

4-5 months ago...I used to see a lot of people giving away bikes that's been collecting dust...now they all have a price tag. 😝

Ok well without getting to tied up with the 30 mph thing. I actually watched some more vids and realized 20 to 25 mph still moves so that's not a deal breaker I just could use some bike suggestions on some bikes in stock

Then there's the sale at Crazy Lenny's. The BH Gravel-XPW is probably hands down much better bike than any of the above mentioned and worth double their sales price.
If you don't like the drop bars, you can always replace it with a regular rise bar.
