Perhaps you should introduce that man to the guy who recently sucker punched a black bear near Santa Barbara. He might benefit from some bear fighting lessons. Down here in Southern California, mountain bikers in Orange County seem to get attacked by mountain lions at least once a year or so, and forum user @Mike leroy seems to think that they're a cyclist's chief safety concern. ;-)
