Thanks to the help of browsing this site, I was able to find the ebike that works for me.
With zero power assist, it climbs just as good as my mid year 2k mountain bike converted to gravel. I love being able to ride in off and eco and only crank it up when I need to.
I did swap out to some American Classic 700x50s. These rocks out here will eat mud terrain truck tires, but these have served me well in the past.
I am a drop bar guy but I’m getting used to the MTB bars. Time will tell if I keep them.
