Patrick, 37 years old. Just bought my first ebike today (et cycle T1000) and picking it up tomorrow! I currently have a normal 2018 rocky mountain growler mountain bike I mostly just use for commuting. Hopefully I like ebikes, they look pretty fun.

Welcome Patrick to EBR, they are lots of fun but just don’t over confident. Go slow at first and know the bikes capabilities and shortcomings. Don’t forget that it is a powerful machine and most of all be safe and ride responsibly. Good luck, you’ll find yourself going further than you did with non-powered bike.

Thank you. I goofed already not paying attention and almost got made into road kill by an incoming car when I was distracted by a car infront of me and forgot to look at the changing light. Also my house just got broken into yesterday and THANKFULLY my first new ebike I JUST bought was not taken (nothing was tbh).
