Just got my 1st ebike 2 weeks ago, an M2S Allterrain Ultramax fatbike. I'm in my mid 60's, a leukemia survivor with pretty bad heart issues and a brand new malignant tumor on my kidney. Up till 15 years ago I raced MTB and road bikes competitively and had a sponsorship so not a bike newbie, just an ebike newbie. So far 150 miles on it, mostly snomo trails and groomed MTB trails with a bit of bike path thrown in. Never thought that I would ride like this again and feeling pretty good about it. I most strongly recommend that if you think you want an ebike, just do it. Memories beat money anyday!

Glad you are out on 2 wheels again. I never rode competitively nor was ever good enough to get sponsored, but I rode a lot on both street and MTB and had been out of it too long before I recently sold our 2010 Pedegos and got some modern ebikes. Feels so good to be out and spinning again! And those fat bikes are just so versatile for so many different riding conditions. Congrats!
