Good day all. I am from the Netherland. Own a Riese Muller Charger 3 from 2021 (a Vario). Love the bike do not love the powerconsumtion and do not love the Enviolo heavy shifting so upgraded to AutomatiQ. Also tweaked the bike on the following points:
1. Kinekt Saddlepost
2. Brooks Saddle
3. Kinekt Saddle bag
4. Supernova Mini Pro 25 headlight
5. Supernova rear light
6. Ergon GP5 grips
7. Magura MDR-P floating brake discs against the squeaking
8. Higher stem to ensure a bit more upright position (2-3 cm higher)

Welcome to the forums @Kogel and nice upgrades!

When you get a chance post some pics so we can admire your e-bike and it’s upgrades!

Welcome @Kogel! Nice bike, I adore riding Dutch bikes. This black one is a mid-drive. I just purchase my first Nuvinci CTV hub this week. It arrives tomorrow. The price was so good that I had to do it. I am not even sure what bike it will land on. Maybe the red one because the OLD spacing is right. Please tell us more about your experience with the AutomatiQ. How do you charge it, with a USB cord to the bike? I like that it eliminates the two shifting cables.
Again, Welcome to EBR.

One of those bars arrived ten minutes ago! It is going on a Ritchey. The guy is feeling that being stooped over all the time is getting stupid. His wife has special needs and I am making a bike for her this week. Then he got envious and wants me to transform his.

I put one of these bars on a this bike today. Would you believe that the bike new costs 268,45 Euros! That is $299 before modifications including the 85Nm torque sensor mid-drive. It is called a Schwinn Gateway, from Target.com. It does 45Kph. I did the wires through frame. If you zoom, you can see how. A young woman approached me. It is a gift for her mother's 60th birthday.

Just discovered this thread. Welcome @Kogel.

I would absolutely love to know how exactly you've adjusted the stem to the fully vertical position. I am eager to attempt the same adjustment to my 2020 SuperDelite, to gain 20-30mm height!

I used a longer quill stem on this bike last week. I think it looks very Dutch.

@albyrne Good day. I did two things. First I have a Nyon display. So I loosened the bolts of the stem and adjusted the stem to the upright position. You have to loosen the bolts quite a bit since it is a toothed connection. After loosening just lift the steering bar and tighten. But please beware of cable routing because there is not that much room. This will give you quite some centimeters and also the steering bar will move toward the saddle which gives you also a more upright position thanks to a shorter reach.

second option is to change the stem for a longer stem. Which I also did. You can order this stem at you bike shop. This will give you another 2 cm in height. But probably you will need to feed the brake tubes more towards the front through the frame because there is very little play. You could also shorten the handle bars a bit. Below a picture of the adjusted stem and the higher stem (not my bike). At the start of my post you will see picture 1 and 2 (that is my bike)

Hi Kogel
My bikes a Tinker Gen 2. But manual Enviolo hub, but hoping it’s possible to retrofit the Automatiq hub

I will certainly agree with the Kinekt seatpost, the Brooks saddle, & the Ergon grips.
Can you give me a bit of feed back on the Magura discs please . I am trying to get rid of the wet squeal. Please tell me that’s the answer. 🤞
I also replaced the Spinner Grind with Spinner 300 Air suspension fork( supplied by Kogee in Taiwan).
Replaced the Big Bens with 2.35x20 cargo tyres. With Tannus armoured inserts.
Stuck a spare battery on the top of the Racktime pannier, secured by the same frame locking mechanism (means having to carry another key, but I can live with that😉).
At 71, I can now do long rides gliding along at an average speed of 9.5mph, & watch a mad , mad world go by.
Having the Automatiq hub would complete the bike.

That is a unique extra battery storage solution! All brakes will squeek when its wet.
