Hello from spain just started my 90 days!

Just got to spain with new batterys for my wife's bike and mine .Changed mine and alls well but the wife's a no go ,local bike shop it was then .They just told me what I already guessed need a new control box and they can't do it cos all the plugs are different any thoughts tia.jeff
