Hey all, I have been lurker on this forum for awhile and enjoy all the information available and everyone's input.
I have ordered a Surface Shred mostly because of the price point for what you get and also a bike mechanic that will service it.
Was traveling in my van for awhile after my last divorce. Not sure where I will finally settle. Now kinda stuck in Saint Augustine Florida taking care of my 91 year old mother.
I also have a Luna Cycle kick scooter. Probably the dumbest thing I ever bought. I never wore a helmet before but do now as the scooter is crazy fast. Standup scooters are not legal in Florida but taking back roads as much as possible haven't got a ticket yet. Found out after buying the scooter not many parts available so it's more or less disposable depending on what breaks.
Anyway most bike shops in St. Augustine will not service bikes they did not sale. Hope the Shred will hold up for awhile. At least I can get away with riding a bike a lot more places.
