Hi my bike is a mid drive Bafang 250w attachéd to an unbranded Chinese hard tailed mountain bike/commuter. It is my first ebike which I bought for a long hilly commute. Recently retired I now use it as a work horse to transport groceries and grand kids. I like to do a bit of off road exploring as well.

Pensta, welcome to the EBR community. I toyed with adding a Bafang to a mountain bike but decided against it (in hindsight, the wrong call) and bought a dedicated ebike instead.

Thanks David I have been really happy with the bike and have had over 2000km of flawless riding. But recently it’s developed a lot of resistance when peddling ...... and I was wondering the best place to post for advice from those more experienced in repair and maintenance.
