Greetings from a new e-rider

Hi Ron, and welcome to this great site. A wonderful group of people who are respectful and extremely helpful. I have an Aventon 500. My first E bike, and bought sight unseen. I did some research, and talked to bike shop owners. They went on site and thankfully leveled with me and said this is a good bike. Some high quality components and comparable to their more expensive bikes. Bought it 2019 and have been riding it as much as I can. extremely impressed all around. Not perfect as none are, but excellent.
I met a gut on the Cape Cod Canal with the Level, and after small bantering, he suggested I take a ride. In my opinion, it’s a true winner for the price. Longer battery life, all components included,(front and rear fenders and a rear rack), front suspension, All for $200. more than the Pace 500, a fantastic buy. it is about 10lbs heavier than the 500. To me, I will lift the extra pounds for what it’s worth. Good luck and keep riding.

We’ll, Hello again everyone. My bike has arrived and it went together so easily, I am impressed. It is very nice. I haven’t ridden it yet because I have one concern. I sent an email to Aventon but I know that they are quite challenged at this time keeping up with everything. I will post my concern in the Aventon part of the forum to get some feedback as to whether I should take it for a ride yet.

Yes, I was very pleased with the turnaround time. That kind of thing never happens to me. It was like hitting lottery.
I ended up posting it in the Aventon Facebook forum. Aventon replied and said the issue is nothing to be concerned about ( they didn’t use those words). I don’t want to call them out far and wide. I will wait for some feedback there. If I do not get any I will post in the appropriate section of this forum. I am very pleased with the bike and my purchase. Thank you, Bigal!
