Hi.
I recently purchased the GB-1 folding Fat. I have been having trouble with the electronics. The first problem was in walking mode the throttle stuck and only shut off with the key. It only happened once. Then and now the throttle doesn’t work or will sputter in and out. I have tried contacting Green Bike by email and phone. Once I registered my first concern, they stopped talking to me. They have refused to answer or even pick up the phone. I’m very unhappy.
Although the bike seems to perform fine when it isn’t acting up.

One of the bad results of bikes by internet. Does your ebike have the 810 LED controller or is it an LCD display model. Either way, walk mode shouldn't lock in. I rarely invoke it, except by accidentally holding the wrong button, and then it shuts off on release. Maybe a sticky button switch. And it should always shut off if you squeeze the brake lever which has a motor cutoff.

The only problem I've had with a throttle is a bad connector. Your throttle, if it is the typical chinese model, has no moving electromechanical parts. It passes a magnet over a stationary chip. People do get them soaking wet and moisture corrodes the chip leads.

Maybe if you can repeat these errors reproducibly and write an email about it, plus use whatever credit or buyer protection you have to ask for a refund, they might be more responsive. Which is why I prefer to go amaxon or use paypal.

I did hear from Green Bike today. Finally. It must be a small company because Lara was sick and no one picked up the slack. Still I’m going to have self diagnose the bike myself. She will be sending me a wiring diagram. I hope it doesn’t void the warranty.
