Gospade problems

I bought a used ebike with a Gospade conversion kit. Mid-drive. Bike works great except that every 10 minutes or so the power shuts off and I have to restart it by pressing the power button. This happens regardless of how much power I am drawing or how much battery is charged. Can anybody advise me on this?

My guess you are getting a thermal shutdown. I would check the controller first.

PastorDave, I installed in 2019 a GOSPADE middle motor and had the same problem. This was resolved by changing the Display. Have you solved your problem and are you satisfied with this motor ?

i have not solved the problem. Do you mean you purchased and installed a new display?

Yes, in june 2019.

 

[GISPADE]

I have the same problems, replaced already the whole set incl display and shifter.
But the problems are there as before, I’m hopeless.
Can anybody advise me?
