I'm after an off road electric bike as I live down a rocky track in South of Spain. I want front and back suspension and seat suspension too! I would also like a back rack to carry things on. Do you have any suggestions/ recommendations please?

Hola! It's me replying to myself. The only options it appears are between giant and haibike!

I have the 2021 Stance E+2
The Haibike looks like it has a nicer front fork with more travel. Brakes look similar/same.
Haibike is setup mullet style instead of the Stance 29er both wheels, so that's a matter of preference.
Haibike has a rear shock with partial lockout which may come in handy.
Haibike has 11 speed Shimano vs the Stance 10 speed Deore.
Motors look the same/similar I believe.

For a rack you could look at a Topeak Tetrarack M2L for light duty and easy on/off (I have this), or Old Man Mountain for more heavy duty purposes.

Thank you! Very comprehensive. Much appreciated.
A couple of questions:
Do both have seat shock absorbers?
And are both bikes reliable? Do either have a greater distance performance?
Are you happy with the Giant?
Thank you for your help.

No, neither have a suspension seatpost, as that is considered to be redundant with rear suspension. I certainly don't need it but would definitely have it on a hardtail.
My Giant had an issue at the beginning with shutting off, but the replacement bike has been perfect for almost 3500 kms.
I have zero experience with Haibike, but the Yamaha motor is what drives the Giant (with some tweaks) and is excellent.
On the original 500wh battery I would generally average around 1km per percentage of battery using assistance levels 1 and 2.
I am extremely happy with the Giant. :)

Forgot to mention that the Haibike looks like it comes with a larger battery, 630wh vs Stance 500wh.
That said, there are 3 models of Stance.

Stance E+2 with 500wh
Stance E+1 with 625wh
Stance E+1 Pro with 625wh

All three can take the new 800wh battery.

Thule 100090 Tour Rack will fit either bike but it is limited to 10kg.

For 25kg loads going need to look for bikes with factory fitted racks eg Moustache Xroad FS.

Dave,
I was looking for the OMM and it looks the brand is not avalailable in Europe. Topeak TetraRack M2 (not necessarily M2L) can be found there and it is totally adequate!
Their website does say that they ship worldwide...
