Giant Stance e+1 Pro 2022 model, speedbox

I have a giant stance e+1pro and would like to remove the 25 km/h speed limit.

Smartgate version : 20240314000, i have been told that if you have this update or newer then it is not possible to fit a speedbox?
I have a newer version of smartgate installed

Is this really true?

You better look for a PearTune for Giant e-bikes. Proven to work very well although it is a pain to install it.

I would do a crap ton of research before de-restricting a new Giant. From what I've read it can end in motor replacement on your dime.
No idea if there are success stories, but I'm not going to go there...
