Sadly, the Giant Ride Control app is crap. Supposedly, they have a new one coming out in the next "weeks" (so the story goes).

You can use Strava, Map My Ride, Ride With GPS, or other app to track your rides, but as far as accurate battery info or tuning, you're just going to have to wait for the new app from Giant.

Ride control app just saved all of my recent rides that would not “up load.” I did not do anything different just pressed save after my ride. Anyone else?

It's happened to me a couple of times. Those rides are gone. They show up on the list as a cloud with an arrow, but they won't upload and won't open.

Exactly... then suddenly saved! I was hoping a Fix had taken place for everyone.

Mine STILL hasn't saved the 3 or 4 rides that failed to upload.

The app is...crap.

I believe there is a display available. You need the newest Ridecontrol that has ANT+ then you can add the display.

Looks like there are some problems with this display and the project was shelved. They suggest the Ride Control Evo display. Perhaps you have heard something different.

Could be. One thing about Giant... they make great bikes, but they suck at apps and clear marketing and customer facing info.
