Hi guys need some help , I have a 2020 Giant fatham E+2, just got it a couple of weeks ago. It does not have a viewable screen so I down loaded the app which worked. Last night I was trying to get onto the app , it would see the bike but would not connect. I've tried everything even deleted the app and reinstalled it , each time it sees the bike but won't connect.

Any help or tips please?

Try the following: turn the bike on, start the app, remove the bike from the app (even if it doesn't pair), restart the phone, try to connect again. This is the ritual I undergo if I want to pair . Using an Android.

Your LBS can try reflashing the firmware. Users have reported this solves the issue.

Thanks , will try this when I get home from work

I had the same, Charlie, on my Trance E+ couple of days ago. It was cured when either:

  1. The Giant released the RideControl App update or,
  2. When my phone got an Android update.
It is hard to diagnose. In the worst case, you might wait for another app update.

P.S. To be honest, the app is almost worthless for me.

Wife's bike does this occasionally, iPhone 6S+. Powering down the phone and restarting resolves it. Something to do with the BT sequencing.

So, it does a scan, your bike code is available, but when you click on it to connect it doesn't?
