Hi I bought an Explore E+1 and love it!
I live in the Highlands of Scotland and believe me that extra cog is well used in this hilly area .
I ordered a set of the double panniers off the giant web site but there doesn’t appear to be a bottom bracket on the pannier to attach the bungees to.
The MIK clicks in OK but they don’t attach at the sides which I think is a bit dangerous.
The bags I bought are listed here

Does anyone know a way round this ?
Do I need to change the pannier carrier or just put the bags I bought on EBay.
and try again and buy some more bags.
If so can someone recommend a good rear carrier that fits straight on the bike ? Don’t want anything too big.
Thanks
S
Also looking for a water bottle carrier that fits well as the battery seems to limit the bar as a good spot for it.
Any help appreciated.
