Giant Charge Display - how to recalibrate speedometer?

I replaced the OEM 700c knobby tires on my wife's 2017 Amiti-E with some 29er tires. She noticed the trip odometer is off. Does anyone know anything about the Giant Charge Display? The Charge Display is simpler than the Evo Display.

The manuals we got with the bike are not exactly encyclopedic. No mention of calibration.

AFAIK, you cannot recalibrate the speedometer on Yamaha powered bikes.

I have Evo and can’t adjust anything like that. Giant has promised an app - who knows when - but they haven’t advertised that as a feature from what I’ve read.

I'm waiting on a reply from the shop. That'd be kind of a bummer if there's no calibration. The ability to calibrate has been a given for years with plain old bike speedometers.

My guess is that if they allowed you to calibrate for the wheel size, you could trick the system into providing power beyond the intended cutoff speed.

That didn't occur to me at all but now that you mention it, that makes sense.

Salesman got back to me on this. There's no calibration. Better make sure the e-bike you're buying is the one you really want!
