I have a Gi Fly bike. I removed the 4 hex bolts under the frame. The center bolt which holds the cable, screws into a hex nut. You have to also unscrew that nut as well. Then the top cover will remove. Then you’ll have access to the battery and the controller.
There are 2 black barrel connectors. A 6 pin and a 5 pin connector. The 5 pin display connector is located under the battery. Disconnect it. The internals of the connector is green. Then connect the bafang 500c display to it and it should work
