Hi All

My wife has Gazelle Chamonix sportive Ebike. It has Bosch active line plus motor 50 nm about 5 years old with 6000 km on bike, mainly ridden on gravel rail trails. It has a Bosch 400 wh powerpack that slides onto rear rack.

Recently there have been several problems with the bike. Firstly the motor stopped and the battery level on the Intuvia control was flashing showing it was flat, battery was fully charged. Remove Intuvia, remove battery, reinsert all good. Same problem next trip. My gazelle has same controller so we swapped them. Same problem occurred. Today when riding she lost motor power but Intuvia control was as normal, no flashing battery power gauge. Remove battery, remove controller restart all good.

Any suggestions as to what is the problem and how to fix it?

Regards
Kevin

Yes, clean the contacts between the Intuvia and its mount. Sometimes you also have to adjust the cables going into the mount to ensure the contact points are making good contact.

The Intuvia in particular has a rep of being sensitive to dirty contacts or even the contacts wearing if you regularly remove the Intuvia from its mount.

Thx, we take the computer off weekly when on bike rack. Would I spray contact cleaner on the. Battery connector pins

enjoy your day
