Hi There. I’m a nube to forum. I wanted to say thanks for the forum helping me to piece together my M750 Fanken-bilke. After multiple plums of smoke from shorts, deciding what to re-use and trash, and eventually succeeded in getting the bike working—-for about $200 USD. I hope to continue to upgrade and eventually get a LIPo energy system when the cost comes down. I could not have done it without all your sharing on this forum. Pics included…

It looks like it's going to fall apart at the first bend. Have you got a good insurance policy? Including fire?

What are we looking at? Oh, the MD750 Tidal force. Designed for the military originally? What looks like a motor in front was actually a round hub packed with lithium batteries in the original design. Big DD motor in the rear.

So, is it still the original hub in front with dead cells, or did you replace it with a hubmotor? Looks like dual throttles in front. so I thought it had two motors. One battery pack or two in the bundle under the frame?

It is TF when new was great bike but as mentioned in other posts way ahead of its time….too bad. I dusted off to see if still works, pulled all nimh batts out of front hub and rigged with 3 lead 12 volt 15 AH to see if 750 watt motor and controller works- it did after at least 5 years in basement. Next step is to get a Li batt pack in place of 40 lb of lead under the cross bar. I’m fringe hobby rider but it was a fun project. I was sure to fuse, heat protect put shut off switches for piece of mind. 36v 15ah creates a great arc when not paying attention!

Bu any chance does anyone know what spec for that motor for AMPs? Continuous and peak? There is a turbo function that must pull alot more than the non turbo feature?
