Frame lock fail

Truth is...its a piss poor design. The ORIGINAL design was much better which included an extra step of pushing a slider pin into position to lock the handle securely and TIGHT against the frame. Obviously some early buyers were bitching about a 2 step process to lock the handle...so in their infinite wisdom to not get any more negative feedback they changed the design in their second production run. Little did they know it was a poor decision as it now takes a lot more effort to fiddle with the design to ensure the handle stays locked.

Just stumbling upon this thread, and Holy s*it I have to agree. 5 people on one thread that have had it partially or fully open on a ride, and several more who have had to make the adjustment for proper performance. I don't care how much of a Lectric Fan Boy you are, that is not normal and a lawsuit waiting to happen. You should never have to search online for how to keep the door closed on your new car, and likewise, you shouldn't have to search how to keep your new bike from folding up spontaneously on the road or trail! lol
