I need to be able to transport my fat tire ebikes in the bed of my pickup truck with the tailgate closed. To do this I have to remove the front tires and mount the forks to a fork mount. Sounds easy enough but I have read they don't recommend this for ebikes because of the weight. Brand new to this forum and ebikes and would really love some insight on this option.

Who are "they" and where did you read it?
I know of a few here who do exactly that when they transport their bikes.
Thanks I am new here and haven't even received my bikes yet. Trying to get ahead of the game before I get the bikes. I guess "they" would be E Trailer, the Q&A section didn't recommend fork mounting a E bike because of the weight. I have searched and searched these forums, youtube, and other sites and I not found where riders use this method. That is why I have resorted to this forum for help to hopefully hear some real world use. Thanks again for replying and I would love to hear from others that use this.
