Folder that also rides like a regular bike

Which brand of folding bike would ride closest to a regular bike when not using pedal assist? As I continue my search for a folder, I’m looking for a bike with decent torque. (No hub motor/cadence sensor/or fat tires). Any thoughts and insights would be greatly appreciated. I value everyone’s opinions.

No folder will ever feel like a regular bike. 20" or smaller tires, weird geometry with that long vertical steerer tube, narrow handlebars, and short wheelbase makes for a completely different ride.

Hi ElevenAD and rich c thanks for your input. I did look at the Montague and seems like a great folding ebike. It’s just a little too big to fit two in my small sedan, one on the back seat and one in the trunk. I’m limited to the 20” wheels unfortunately. I currently have a Brompton (non-electric, 16” tires) and because of the longer wheelbase and wide 6-speed gearing it feels like riding a regular bike, minus the disadvantage of 16” wheels and twitchy steering. Now if I could find a 20” electric folder that rides like the Brompton minus the twitchy front end, I think I’d be happy with that.
