Flat Tire Prevention Advice

Apparently, flat tires are a significant issue for ebikes. I've read that there are prevention sealants (e.g. Slime Red) available which help. Do the majority of owners use sealants or perhaps some other methods to minimise the number of flats? I am only a casual paved road rider.

Just spring for good tires in the 1st place. The stock tires & similar flimsy sidewall, low pressure mtn tires
have been the only issue with my bike. Got 28¨x 2.00¨ marathons, 70 psi, no problems since. Not good
for black diamond mtn trails, but neither am I, perfect for everyday ordinary use..
