Fitting a "Generic" Rear Rack to Rad Mini ST2?

A friend of mine gave me a rear rack he wasn't using. I'd like to install it on my Rad Mini ST2.

It looks quite adjustable, so I think that it will generally fit. However, I think that the Rad's brake light will have to be relocated. Rad's own rack comes with an extension cord to get around this problem. But is a compatible extension cord available anywhere by itself? (ie - without buying Rad's rack.)
