First commute to work today....

Kind of chilly for San Diego. About 45 degrees at 6am. Rode hard just to know how long it will take me each morning riding fast. Averaged about 25 mph. Got to work in about 26 minutes around 11 miles door to door. Happy with that because it takes me about 20 minutes driving my Jeep. Battery was showing 72% when I got to work and I was on full turbo mode the whole way. Not too bad I think.
Traffic is pretty light at this time. Takes me about 30 minutes driving home at around 3:30pm so I am curious if I can match that time on my Turbo S. I shall see later today...

I'd love to be able to stay in Turbo mode. How long did your trip home take?

Now that I know the Turbo S battery is compatible with the base Turbo and Turbo X, I plan to get some of that 691Wh goodness for my base Turbo. This should take my full Turbo range from around 25 miles to around 37 miles. ECO70 range should go out to 50 miles. By the way, at full Turbo, I find myself averaging around 20 mph on the base Turbo vs. John's 25 mph on a 10 mile commute to my daughter's house. I usually have around +60% left after that ride.

Good time! Return trip must be more uphill than the trip to work....22 miles in 56 minutes (round trip) = 23.6 mph average. Very good!

Doug, I averaged 25 mph just to see how quick I could get to work. I won't ride that hard every day. I will take my time from now on. Unless I am running late for work.

Not really more hills. Just more traffic and I get stuck by more traffic lights coming home.
