In my experience, though, a couple of eMTB-specific items have been worthwhile so far: Schwalbe Eddy Current tires and SRAM EX1 drivetrains.

So I'm not the only person who thinks these chain oils are marketing hype? When I first looked at those small bottles for $10 and up it struck me as way, way too much money for such a tiny amount of oil. I use a light weight oil for chain saws. Works fine. If it can hold up to a chain saw, it can hold up on my bike chain. As mentioned, oil is oil.
